Liverpool Football Club’s (LFC) renaissance is coming to a close with the announcement of German coach Jürgen Klopp departure from the club at the end of the season.
Nonetheless, LFC and Klopp have been tearing it up in the Premier League as the tournament’s leader. Most recently, they won against Nottingham Forest, 1-0, in a shocking last-minute winner delivered by Darwin Nuñez.
In the 99th minute, the Uruguayan striker found the back of the net via a beautiful header assisted by Alexis Mac Allister. The Red’s fans erupted in City Ground, Nottinghamshire (the home of the Forests).
However, this is not the first time Nuñez scored in extra time, nor is it an isolated case for players under the Champions League-winning coach's administration.
